In collaboration with SPCAL, the Champalimaud Foundation is organising another edition of the Champalimaud Course on Laboratory Animal Science for Function A (former FELASA Category B) - Persons carrying out procedures on animals.
This course will have two components:
Theoretical Component: SPCAL Online Theoretical Course - Estimated online access by 15/Feb/2018. Estimated dates for theoretical exam on 9 March 2018, 14h or 12 March 2018,14h at the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown (Seminar Room). Dates to confirm!
Practical Component: Sessions held at the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown from 2-9 March 2018. Provisional programme can be found HERE, but please reserve the full period from Friday March 2 to Friday March 9for now, since there may still be some changes.).
The price for external (non-CF) researchers is 350€ for the full course. In case you have previously completed the theoretical course, the practical component is 275€. Please, note that we will not accept registrations for the practical course only except if applicant has previously completed the theoretical course (or equivalent course).
If you wish to attend this course, please register HERE. Pre-registrations are open until 10 February 2018. However, because these is a limit to the number of attendees, your registration will only be considered effective after our validation. We will confirm this before 14 February 2018.
Note regarding species: You have the possibility of attending the course just for one species (Mouse/Rat OR zebra Fish), or for both

- Certificate and DGAV Licence will match your option for species
