VI National simposium of Animal Welfare Bodies (AWB)

SPCAL is organizing the 1st SPCAL Scientific Day (on December 10, 2021), and also supports the organization of the VI Animal Welfare Bodies (AWB) National Symposium coordinated by RedeORBEA (to be held at the same venue on December 9, 2021). The events will take place at the Escola Superior de Turismo e Tecnologia do Mar - Politécnico de Leiria, in Peniche.

The program of the I SPCAL Scientific Day (see details at the end of the form), under the theme "Responsible Research and Innovation in Science in Laboratory Animals", will have the participation of three invited guest speakers from international organizations. It will also include two workshops, one coordinated by EARA and another by FELASA. We hope that it will be a program of your interest, having been SPCAL's intention to promote a scientific meeting and training moment.

The theme for the VI National Symposium of ORBEAs will be "Outside the box - beyond rodents in Laboratory Animal Sciences" and also features lectures on various animal models and/or alternatives, as well as moments of discussion for members of National ORBEAs to exchange experiences, and practices and discuss difficulties/solutions related to their activities.
