The Champalimaud Foundation is holding another CONGENTO Training Session on "Portuguese Legislation on Animal use in Research" on 8-12 February 2021. This module is in English and will be entirely remote, according to the following plan:

• February 8-11 -  Access to 1 mandatory session on Legislation and 1 optional session on Severity Classification), for self learning. These are video-recorded sessions with supporting PDF handouts
  

• February 12, 10 AM - Online Quiz for evaluation

• A Zoom session for discussion and doubts can be scheduled for February 11, 2 PM, if there are questions

This session is particularly relevant for those who have completed Laboratory Animal Science courses in other EU countries, and only require training in Portuguese Legislation to obtain their License to work with animals (required by DGAV since late 2017). If you know of someone in this situation, please, forward her/him this email.

All those interested in the topic, even if not in the situation specified above, are free to attend.
